A- Annick and the Devil’s Hand

Annick is waiting for her mother who went to buy some flowers.
Suddenly, she sees a Hand leaping about among the graves. She turns around to find herself face to face with the Devil, hanging by his feet from a tree’s branch.
Taking advantage of the girl’s surprise, the Demon steals her shadow that he carefully puts in his “shadower” before disappearing into the depths of the Earth.
But Annick cannot accept this ! Encouraged by the Dead’s chorus, she calls back the Evil one. In exchange of her shadow, and therefore of her soul, he proposes the magical powers of the Hand, which make all wishes come true…
This time, Annick is careful and, thanks to her skilfulness, she manages to cheat the Devil. After knocking down the cursed book, she gives back their freedom to all the poor trapped shadows.

Puzzled by the strange behaviour of a black Cat, Rozic enters the cemetery.
There, a couple of will-o’-the-wisps carry her to an abandoned chapel leading up to a subterranean passage.
The intrepid little girl continues despite the cat’s warning. she even leaps into a boat that seems to be waiting for her on the banks of a mysterious lake…
But it is Death who is steering the boat and at the end of the trip they arrive at The Kingdom of the Dead.
By chance, the Cat sees Rozic as a friend and her bad temper and helps her to outsmart the horrible Shrew’s plans…
C- No dandelions for Jean-Marie
When bending down to pick up his ball, Jean-Marie stops in front of a dandelion that moves by itself… He tries to pull that curious spiral spring salad, but, when the dandelion gives way, the boy discovers with fright a dead body’s head hanging by its teeth to the root of the plant !
The Pirate who has been dug up asks Jean-Marie to put him back in his hole, but the boy does not dare touch the disgusting skull.
The dead head promises him a reward that lays hidden under a standing stone. The stone starts rolling all around the cemetery, its base going over its top … And the head has to be put back in its place before the stone finishes its trip if Jean-Marie wants to get his share of the treasure !
D- The Nasty Goblin’s slippers

The Nasty Goblin possesses a strange power that comes from his slippers : during a full moon, this horrible little guy with a long pointy nose, has to sting a human being ten times to get back to his normal size.
This time, he attacks an innocent little girl named Catel… who has a sharp eye, a quick tongue, an exact movement, very loyal friends and more than one trick up her sleeve!
Armed with all these assets, she knows how to make fun of the Prickly One and escape from his curse !
E- The Cheating Vampire
Little Jeanette suggests her brother Gwenn to go and find out if it is true that golden coins can be found at the end of the rainbow beams which falls upon one of the cemetery’s chapel.
But, on entering the building, Gwenn wakes up a guy, with sharpened claws and pointed teeth : a Vampire, who invites them to play a strange card game.
The boy, by dint of cleverness and skilfulness, catches the obnoxious character into his own trap, but the Vampire does not admit defeat. He turns himself into a vampire bat and chases the two terrified children…
Luckily, Gwenn does not lose his courage nor his cool !
F- The Thirteen Mushrooms of the Ghost

Guern takes his friend Corentin to the burial place of a mysterious sorcerer at the bottom of the cemetery… He brings a present to try and ward off fate of the cursed grave : a dead pigeon.
But this meagre offering sets off the Sorcerer’s anger. He makes the boy eat some mushrooms that he offers as a gift. One of these mushrooms has the power to bring fortune, but all the others are poisonous…
Which one should he chose ? This is the problem that the two friends have to solve.
G- The Goblins are having fun

Ronan is repainting the iron barrier that surrounds his grandfather’s grave. Suddenly, he is attacked by horrible little red creatures who start biting him savagely : biting Goblins. He manages to get rid of them but, the Father Goblin suddenly appears to revenge his kids. Ronan succeeds in chasing them away, and it is the Grandfather Goblin that comes in his turn to seek his revenge…. And each time, the hideous little men grow bigger !
In the end, the Master of Goblins calls on some fearsome reinforcements for help : four very nasty Dead men come out of their graves and use the young boy as a target.
But Ronan who also has a gift for making friends, is aided by the Dead to conquer the Goblins.
H- The Trolls’whistle
Tristan runs after a Troll who has just stolen his knucklebones from him.
The chase takes him off to the bottom of a subterranean where a strange ceremony is taking place : twelve Trolls are gathered around a table and have to drop their knucklebones in a box saying :
« Akrabill ! Akraboll !
The Cerberus’s Whistle is mine ! There, The Troll’s treasure is mine !”
The kid succeeds in getting hold of the Whistle, but who is this Cerberus and which treasure is he dealing with ? So many questions that Tristan has to answer to come back out in the open air and regain freedom !
I- That, now that’s Music !

One day, in the Kingdom of Hells where all the devils live with their head upside down, Lucifer gets an idea : he has just composed evil music, and wants to have it played during the procession of All Saints’Day.
All the inhabitants of the town will be gathered at Saint-Patrick’s Graveyard, and all of them will be damned.
But there is only one problem : none of the Devils who play the bagpipes are able to this new composition…
A Pink Little Devil suggests to Lucifer to have his music played by a young human being named Gildas, and is put in charge of sending the music to him.
The Little Devil accomplishes his mission with success… but, when the fanfare starts and the music begins, the Devil does not recognize his work. He had forgotten that, among the Humans, we are living with our head the right way up !
J- How boring it is to be here !

It is the lyrics of the well-known song that attract Rozen and Marg’rite towards the oldest part of the cemetery…
The voice comes out from a grave where suddenly a ghost dressed in armour appears ! He introduces himself as the former Lord of the town : Baron Frederik-the-Black, dead for more than five centuries…
He asks the little girls to take him to see his castle, without expecting that so many
changes and surprises are waiting for him in the streets …
Very quickly, Wisdom will bring back the Knight among the Dead, where life is much
quieter after all !
K- Fantik and the Rose
Why do some graves disappear under bunches of flowers while other ones are deserted ?
In order to right this wrong that Fantik picks up a rose on to the grave of Mrs Drankar…
But Mrs Drankar is a Witch and puts a spell on the little girl : as long as the flower lives it can grant all the child’s wishes, but, when it dies, Fantik will also die.
The girl is tempted to get rid of the rose by offering this poisonous gift to a few people that she does not especially like…
But Fantik is not a nasty kid. She is a particularly clever and shrewd little girl and the horrible witch will find herself caught in her own trap !
L- The Ghost’s Jumper
Noëlik’s kite crashes in the cemetery, after being attacked by two birds for no apparent reason. The boy pulls up the string leading to his kite… but a lugubrious voice suddenly resounds under his feet : “Who is unknitting my jumper ?”
The ghost of a sailor lost at sea comes out of his tomb and tells Noëlik to bring him a new clothe within one hour…
The boy has a lot of trouble to convince his parents about his adventure, and, it is only the sight of the ghost, covered with seaweed, in the family house, that proves the child right !
M- The Ghoul’s mirror
Mary-Job finds a mirror in one of the cemetery’s alley.
When she looks at herself in it, her reflection does not appear. Instead, she sees the cemetery and the long procession of the moaning Dead. She realises that this picture is like a black and white negative…
All of a sudden, her little sister Mona reaches up her hand to catch the mirror and Mary-Job drops it. It breaks and the little girl finds herself hurled into the Other World. A world of desolation ruled by an horrible female : the Ghoul. The ghastly creature, half-beast, half-woman, torments the Dead so as to collect their tears… tears that have the power to give to her hair an extraordinary brightness !
But Mary-Jobs quick thinking and daring cleverness are a force to be reckoned with !
