1. St.Patrick's Graveyard
A very old graveyard located in Brittany. Slightly fantastic, where many different sorts of original and strange religious constructions are found.
On every path there are ancient graves, half decayed or covered with lively vegetation, neighboring the small chapels, tombs and mausoleums, inspired by the most artistic architecture ever! Rundown shafts, statues, Celtic crosses, and trees create the perfect ambiance for children to play and for all the indescribable characters who live above or below the ground.
2. The Dead
In the small town, everyone knows that the Dead come to life after dark. But it is only the children who hear their voices. Since everyone was once a child, everyone has heard them.
The Dead talk, but are rarely seen and even then only by a bone or two. Sometimes, they risk raising their head, or a hand above ground, out of the gravestone, but such sightings will remain rare in order to maintain the mystery and the fear.
There are many dead in the graveyard, but our stories will give the focus to three in particular:
The Dead Professor: he can't stop teaching and correcting mistakes, and always wants to help the children;
The Dead Court Jester: the fool, the comic who can't stop himself from making a joke or a pun;
The Critic: he finds fault with everything and everyone.
The Dead will have an important role in these stories, sometimes they'll provoke the situation, sometimes they'll only comment on it, but they will always be there to help the children interpret the moral of the story.
3. The Creepy Creatures
Not only are there talking skeletons at St.Patrick's Graveyard, but also a strange and frightful group of residents : from the creepiest goblins to the grim reaper himself.
Each episode will "guest star" one or more of these creepy creatures. The Graveyard is their territory and their favorite amusement park: where they love to terrorize the living visitors.
From the smallest elf to the largest oaf, with trolls, gnomes, goblins, and the devil himself, each creature will attempt to harm, rob, scare, hurt or make disappear, any living being that dares to trespass into their territory. This of course, is the reason they are feared.
They never win though, they're always discouraged, punished and overturned by the true heroes: The Children.

4. The Children
Whether it is Lee or Annie, Nick or Wendy, each will find themselves all alone in the midst of the gravestones on one evening as night falls. They are an easy target for the powerful bad spirits that roam the graveyard.
Between the ages of 8 and 10, they are very adventurous and curious, but also have good common sense: they're not easily impressed or taken in. This is the quality that helps them to escape from very dangerous and often dramatic situations that they find themselves in at the hands of the creepy creatures.
They're able to observe their opponent, discover his weakness and invent a way to get out of the trap: they have creativity and a good sense of humor, where their enemy has little! They are blessed with the gift of language and usually have a good retort!
